Diploma / Cap & Gown Orders: January 7 – February 21

Diploma, Cap and Gown Ordering: January 7 – February 21

Maple Grove Senior High provides all seniors who participate in our commencement ceremony with a cap, gown, standard tassel and medallion at no cost. Recently, seniors received an email which includes the link to the order form. They will be asked to provide their full legal name, height and approximate weight. All seniors must complete the form (even if they are not planning to participate in the commencement ceremony) to ensure their diploma is ordered.

 

Graduating with Honors

Seniors graduating with honors do not need to pre-order honor accessories, however, unlike the gown, cap w/standard tassel, and medallion, honor accessories are not provided free of charge. In April, a list of seniors eligible to graduate with honors will be posted on the senior information and graduation page. Honor accessories for eligible students will be available for purchase in June. Watch for more information in the Crimson Newsletter and on the Maple Grove Senior High website.

Honors eligibility is based on a student’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) through the second trimester of their senior year; third trimester grades are not included in final GPA calculations for honors recognition. Please note: as stated in the Student Handbook, Grade point averages are never rounded up in the awarding of academic honors (honor rolls, seniors honors, academic lettering, etc.)

Seniors - End of the Year Dates
  • June 2: Seniors turn in their Chromebooks
  • June 4: Last day of School
  • June 8: Commencement Ceremony
